E-Commerce Component

I was tasked with creating a versatile cross-platform e-commerce component for a client who already had a CMS and wanted to add e-commerce functionality to their websites. The component needed to have a distinct identity while also being adaptable for rebranding on different client websites. Through client surveys, I was able to discern and prioritize the most critical features of the component, resulting in a product that not only aligned with their objectives but also presented clarity for end-users and allowed for expedited rollout of new versions.

It is crucial to map out the user journey, starting from when they land on the site until they complete a purchase. This helps in identifying important touchpoints like product discovery, adding items to the cart, and the checkout process. I designed the component with the goal of providing a seamless user experience while keeping the focus on the products.
